Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Ambient - - Par boil peeled potatoes and drain well.
- Add 1 tbsp. of Goose Fat to a roasting tray and place in a pre-heated oven for approx. 10 mins at 220°C/425ºF/ Gas mark 7.
- Once the fat is smoking, carefully add potatoes.
- Baste and season well and place tray in the oven for approx. 45 mins.
- Turn and baste occasionally to ensure they are golden and crunchy all over.
- Goose Fat also adds great flavour when used in place of other fats/oils when cooking meats, vegetables and fried bread.
