Keep raw and cooked products separate. For food safety reasons it is recommended that the turkey is not 'washed out' prior to cooking. Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only.<br/> Not suitable for microwave cooking.<br/> Not suitable for cooking from frozen.<br/> Remove all packaging, neck and giblets.<br/> Note: Giblets are found in a plastic bag located in the 'neck end' of the turkey. Turkey neck may be included in the giblet bag or stored separately in the body cavity of the turkey.<br/> Oven<br/> 180ºC/350ºF/Gas Mark 4<br/> Fan Assisted Oven 170ºC<br/> For your convenience we have calculated the minimum cooking time for this turkey and displayed it on the front label. If stuffing the turkey, place the stuffing in the 'neck end' and allow an extra 20 minutes cooking time per 500g of stuffing used.<br/> Preheat oven to required temperature shown above.<br/> Place turkey, 'breast up' in a roasting tray, baste with butter if desired and cover loosely with foil.<br/> Place on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for time indicated.<br/> Ensure the turkey is thoroughly cooked before serving. To check, insert a skewer into the deepest part of the breast and thigh, if the turkey is cooked juices will run clear, if not continue to cook and repeat check.<br/> Once cooked, cover with foil and allow to rest in a warm place for 20 minutes.
