Remove all packaging but leave the netting on while roasting.<br/> 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 2 hours 15 mins.<br/> Preheat oven. Place the turkey into a roasting dish, baste with butter if desired and cover loosely with foil. Place on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for time indicated Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to brown the skin, turning once to ensure it is golden brown all over. Ensure the turkey is thoroughly cooked before serving. To check, insert a skewer into the joint, if the turkey is cooked juices will run clear, if not continue to cook and repeat check.<br/> Once cooked, cover with foil and allow to rest for 20 minutes.
