Further details can be found in our Privacy Statement.
2. Terms of Sale
By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following Terms.
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
We reserve the right to change or update our terms, including those relating to the online use of Shop and Save vouchers and other promotions at any time and without notice.
While it is our priority to deliver your goods to you within your chosen delivery slot, dispatch times may vary, and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to potential delays resulting from, for example, adverse weather conditions or other events outside of our reasonable control for which we will not be responsible. In the unlikely event that there are delays beyond our control, we will endeavour to contact you in advance.
In order to contract with us you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank. Dunnes Stores retains the right to refuse any request made by you, and reserves the right to close your Dunnes Stores online account or VALUEclub account at our sole discretion. When your order is received, we will inform you by email.
When placing an order, you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of products may fluctuate between the time you order and the time we deliver. All prices advertised are subject to change. The price which will be charged will be the price of the products on the day your order is picked for delivery.
A person receiving a delivery containing alcohol or other restricted items must be over 18. It is your responsibility to ensure that a suitable person is at the delivery point to receive the order. If the person receiving delivery of alcohol or other restricted item looks under 23, we will request identification. We may retain alcohol or other restricted products if proof of age is not adequate and there is no alternative person to receive the delivery.
By using this Website, you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining and promptly updating account information for accuracy and completeness.
3. Our Contract
How the Contract is Formed
After placing an order, you will receive an email from Dunnes Stores acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer made by you to buy a product or service from us.
The Contract will only be accepted and formed when the goods have been delivered to you.
Please note that prices shown on the website are subject to change until the contract has been formed. The prices shown are guide prices, with the final cost of your order to be determined on the day your products are picked for delivery.
The prices on the Website include VAT but exclude delivery costs, which you will be shown at the time you place your order and will be added to the total amount due.
You may pay using Visa, MasterCard credit/debit cards, or Maestro card. Your credit/debit card payment will be made through a secure Website. Card payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your card issuer. If your card issuer fails to authorise the payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery, and may not be able to form a Contract with you or we will not be able to proceed with your order.
Dunnes Stores must receive full payment for the order at the time the order is processed and before the product is dispatched.
The Website may contain inaccuracies, typographical errors or other errors and may not always be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil any orders that you may place based on information on the Website that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.
VALUEclub points will be earned when you purchase in store or online, for store collection or for delivery to your address.
In order to receive VALUEclub points and to create a purchase history to make future orders easier for you, you must fill in your VALUEclub card number when prompted.
If you don’t fill in a VALUEclub number before you place your order, we will issue a VALUEclub card to you which will be delivered to you with your first order. This would be subject to our VALUEclub Terms and Conditions, which are available here.
The VALUEclub number will also be shown on the receipt for your first and future online orders.
You should keep this card and number safe. You should use this card/number for future purchases online and instore.

Any items which have been added to your order as a substitute for an unavailable product will be brought to your attention at the time of delivery and you may hand the item back to the delivery driver if you do not wish to purchase it. The item will then be removed from your order and the price will be refunded to the card you used to make your purchase.

You may change or cancel your order at any time before the cut-off time indicated on the website.
You have a statutory right to cancel your contract with us (whether in full or in respect of an individual item or items) at any time, for any reason, until the expiry of the 14th day after the day of delivery.

9. Your Order Delivery
For the purpose of these Terms, “delivery” or “delivered” shall be deemed to have occurred upon delivery of the product(s) at the address specified by you when you completed your order, after the goods have been received and signed by you or on your behalf.
One delivery charge applies for your online order, regardless of how many products you purchase. If you wish to send products to different addresses you must create a different order for each delivery address.
Delivery costs are variable. You will be informed of the final cost of delivery when placing your order.
We will contact you via email on the day of delivery to inform you that your goods have been dispatched.
If we attempt to deliver your order to the delivery address as arranged with you but there is nobody at the delivery address to accept your order, the products may be retained by the driver. In this case, you will need to contact Customer Service to re-arrange delivery.
In the case of home delivery, in order to comply with social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will deliver your order to the main entrance of the delivery address, where it is safe to do so, or otherwise as near as practicable to that entrance. In this case, your goods will be deemed to have been delivered when they have been left at the main entrance, and no signature will be required.
