Ingredients
1 grapefruit, zested and 4 wedges grapefruit, to garnish, plus 1 extra to rim the glasses
100g caster sugar
120ml Casamigos Silver Tequila
160ml grapefruit juice
80ml cranberry juice
40ml sugar syrup
Soda water, to top
Ice
4 sprigs rosemary, to garnish, plus 1 extra
Handful of fresh cranberries, to garnish, optional
Directions

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 grapefruit, zested
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 120ml Casamigos Silver Tequila
  • 160ml grapefruit juice
  • 80ml cranberry juice
  • 40ml sugar syrup
  • Soda water, to top
  • Ice
  • 4 sprigs rosemary, to garnish, plus 1 extra
  • 4 wedges grapefruit, to garnish, plus 1 extra to rim the glasses
  • Handful of fresh cranberries, to garnish, optional

METHOD

  1. Mix the grapefruit zest and caster sugar together in a bowl then pour onto a plate.
  2. Run a grapefruit wedge around the top of 4 tumblers then dip each rim into the grapefruit sugar to coat. Set aside.
  3. In a cocktail shaker combine the Casamigos tequila, grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, sugar syrup and a rosemary sprig. Add a handful of ice then place the lid on the shaker and shake for a few minutes to combine.
  4. Strain into the rimmed glasses then add ice and top up each glass with soda water.
  5. Garnish each glass with a rosemary sprig, a wedge of grapefruit and some fresh cranberries if using.
