At this point it meanders its thoughtful way past the small town of Bingen, the home of The Bend in the River.<br/>Producer - Reh Kendermann GmbH<br/>Regional Information - The grapes for this wine are grown in the Rubicone area, located in the north of Italy and part of the famous Emiglia Romagna. The mediterranean climate with warm and sunny days provides perfect ripening conditions for the Pinot Grigio grapes, while the Fresh breeze from the adriatic sea brings cool nights for the typical fresh and lively character of the wine.<br/>Vinification Details - The grapes were harvested from mid-September onwards at optimum ripeness. They were then pressed gently, cooled down to 5°C and the heavier matter was allowed to settle naturally, leaving behind a clean juice with enhanced fruit definition. The juice was then fermented at low temperatures of 14-16°C / 57-61°F for approximately 3 weeks in stainless steel.
