Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove outer packaging and film lid. Not suitable for microwave cooking. For best results cook from frozen.
Always check the product is piping hot throughout before serving
To check, insert skewer into the joint, if the turkey is cooked juices will run clear, if not continue to cook and repeat check. Allow joint to rest for 10 minutes and remove strings before carving. Carve thinly using a sharp knife. Drain well before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.
Oven cook - From Frozen - 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 2 hours
Oven from frozen: Preheat oven to required temperature shown above. Wrap foil tray loosely with foil and place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 1 hour, then remove foil and cook for a further 1 hour.
Oven cook - From Defrost - 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 1hr. 10 mins
Oven from defrost: Defrost thoroughly in refrigerator before cooking and consume within 24 hours. Preheat oven to required temperature shown above. Place foil tray on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for times indicated.
