Vodka Spritzer

INGREDIENTS

• 100ml lemon juice
• 1 large lemon thinly sliced
• 200ml sparkling water
• 100ml vodka
• 2 tbsp mint
• A few basil leaves
• 2 vanilla sprigs (optional)
• 1 tsp ginger
• 2 thyme sprigs
• 3 tbsp sugar

METHOD

1. Add ginger, herbs and sugar to a shaker and crush together.
2. Add lemon juice, vodka and ice to the mixture and shake.
3. Sieve the drink into a glass with ice and top with sparking water.
4. Stir until combined.

Optional: Coat the rim of your glass with lemon juice and sugar, and top off with a basil leaf and a lemon wedge.
