Keep refrigerated 0°C to +4°C. Consume within 24 hours of opening and by 'use by' date. For 'use by' date and weight, see top of pack. Suitable for home freezing.
If freezing, freeze on the day of purchase and consume within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly in refrigerator before cooking and use within 24 hours. Once thawed do not refreeze.

Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging. Drizzle with a little oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Do not reheat.
Hob - From Chilled - 2-2 1/2 hours
Preheat a pan over high heat. Add the meat and brown for 2 minutes to seal in the flavour and juices. Reduce the heat to medium, add some root vegetables and enough stock to cover the meat. Cover and bring to the boil. Simmer on the hob for time indicated or until meat is tender and can be broken up with a fork or spoon.
Oven cook - From Chilled - 170°C, Fan 150°C, Gas 3, 2-2 1/2 hours
Preheat oven. Pan fry the meat in a hot pan for 2 minutes to seal in the flavour and juices. Transfer the meat to a casserole dish, add some root vegetables and enough stock to cover the meat. Cover with a lid, place on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for time indicated or until meat is tender and can be broken up with a fork or spoon.
