- Consume within 24 hours of opening and by 'use by' date.
- For 'use by' date and weight, see top of pack.
- Suitable for home freezing.
- If freezing, freeze on the day of purchase and consume within 1 month.
- Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator for a minimum of 50 - 60 hours. Check turkey has thawed completely.
- Ensure there are no ice crystals in the body cavity and that the legs are flexible. Cook and consume within 24 hours of defrosting
- Once thawed do not refreeze.

Preparation and Usage
Cooking Instructions
Cooking times will vary with the appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging, the neck and giblets. Note: Giblets are found in a plastic bag located in the cavity of the turkey. Turkey neck may be included in the giblet bag or stored separately in the body cavity of the turkey.
190°C, Fan 170°C, Gas 5
For your convenience we have calculated the minimum cooking time for this turkey and displayed it on the front label. If stuffing the turkey, place the stuffing in the 'neck end' and allow an extra 20 minutes cooking time per 500g of stuffing used.
Oven: Preheat oven. Place turkey 'breast up' in a roasting tray, baste with butter if desired and cover loosely with foil. Place on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for time indicated. Remove foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to brown the skin. Ensure the turkey is thoroughly cooked before serving. To check, insert a skewer into the deepest part of the breast and thigh, if the turkey is cooked juices will run clear, if not continue to cook and repeat check.
Once cooked, cover with foil and allow to rest for 20 minutes before carving. Do not reheat.
