Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Wash before use. Peel if required
Hob - From Ambient - Boil & Simmer: Place potatoes in a saucepan of boiling water, bring back to the boil. Simmer for time indicated above. Drain, mash and serve.
Other - From Ambient - Roast: Preheat oven to required temperature shown above. Place the peeled potatoes in a saucepan of boiling water, return to the boil and simmer for 8 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Place potatoes in a pre-heated baking tray containing oil, turning after 20 minutes. Cook for a further 20 minutes until golden brown.
Oven cook - From Ambient - Preheat oven to required temperature shown above. Prick potatoes with a fork and put onto a baking tray and place directly on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for time indicated.
220°C, Fan 200°C, Gas 6 45 mins.
Steam - From Ambient - Steam: Steam over a pan of simmering water for time indicated above.
