Ingredients
1/3 cup olive oil
2 bananas
1 egg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 apples
Directions

Makes 10-16 cookies (divide into smaller sizes for babies) 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 apples

TO SERVE

Serve with a side of fruit for a really easy and quick baby led weaning breakfast idea

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC/350ºF.
  2. Add the oil to a mixing bowl.
  3. Then press the bananas before opening which helps to soften them.
  4. Peel and add to the bowl along with the egg, then using a fork, mash well until smooth.
  5. Peel the apples, then finely dice and add to the cookie mixture.
  6. Use an ice cream scoop to divide the mixture into cookies. For smaller babies 6 months-12 months, divide into roughly 1 heaped tablespoon-sized cookies.
  7. Press the mixture down slightly using the back of the spoon.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a skewer comes out clean and the apple is soft.

🫙 Store in an airtight container for 5 days or freeze.
