Healthy Toddler Reindeer Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup (90g) oat flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
6 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
8 tbsp (125ml) milk
6 pretzels broken in half
6-8 squares of melted chocolate
12 raspberries
Directions

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup (90g) oat flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 8 tbsp (125ml) milk
  • Googly eyes or homemade ones using melted white chocolate with a dot of dark chocolate.
  • 6 pretzels broken in half
  • 6-8 squares of melted chocolate
  • 12 raspberries

 

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  2. Add the dry ingredients to a bowl and stir well, then mix in the oil, maple syrup and milk and stir until the dough is fully combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal-sized balls, then press down to form a cookie.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and cool fully.
  5. To make the reindeer cookies, break the pretzels in half, dip a little into the melted chocolate and add to the top of both cookies.
  6. Add 3 dots of melted chocolate for the eyes and nose, then place the chocolate eyes or googly eyes and a raspberry nose on the reindeer.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
