Wine Alcohol Data
History - Cockburn's, founded in 1815 by two Scottish brothers Robert and John Cockburn, is one of the greatest and most beloved names in Port. With a long history of questioning the 'rules', Cockburn's was a pioneer in producing Port from the remote Douro Superior and was instrumental in recovering the iconic Port grape variety Touriga Nacional from almost certain extinction. The Cockburn’s style reflects the special hot and dry climatic conditions of this Douro Sub-region giving a unique style and quality to all Cockburn's Ports.
Regional Information - Comfortable in any setting, our ultra-adaptable fine ruby has a bright and fruity style that mixes as easily as it stands alone.
Vinification Details - Made with a selection of young wines from a variety of harvests, it’s aged in oak for two to three years before its youthful red-fruit flavours are released into the world, ready to enjoy.
