History - Our special location in the region makes our wines unique and standing apart from the traditional Vinho Verde. With nearly 250 hectares of own vineyards, Quinta das Arcas is one of the biggest grape growers in the region and this is the main reason for the quality of Quinta das Arcas wines. The vineyards have an average age of 15 years old.

Regional Information - Located on slopes along the Ferreira river in soils of mostly schist and slate. The proximity to the
ocean, only at 20 km, also plays an important role on the wine
profile.
Vinification Details - Grapes de-stemmed to obtain the most expressive varietal aromas and less
astringent wines. Low temperatures fermentation in stainless steel vats.
