Ingredients
1 1/2 cups porridge oats
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup flaxseed
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup Brazil nuts
1/2 cup walnuts
1 heaped dessertspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 dessertspoon maple syrup (to take away bitterness of cocoa)
1/4 cup olive oil
Directions

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 Cups Porridge Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Flaxseed
  • 1/2 Cup Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup Brazil Nuts
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts
  • 1 Heaped Dessertspoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Dessertspoon Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil

METHOD

  1. Remove the inner tray from the air fryer and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to the tray and stir well to combine. Press down using the back of a spoon.
  3. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, stirring halfway through and pressing down again to create clusters.
  4. Leave to cool fully before removing from the air fryer.
  5. Transfer to an airtight jar — it will keep for weeks.
  6. For babies and children under 5: Blend the cooled granola until finely ground, then sprinkle over yogurt, oats, or custard.
