Store in a cool dry place.
Cooking Guidelines
Hob - From Ambient - Soaking: Pour over the peas enough boiling water to cover them, leave room for swelling. Add one of the enclosed tablets and stir until dissolved. Soak overnight or for 12 hours. Strain and wash.
Put peas into a saucepan of boiling water, add a tablespoon of sugar and the second tablet. Simmer gently for approximately 20 minutes. Do not boil merely simmer.
Preparation and Usage
Important
Using these two tablets the cooking time will be reduced considerably. Do not overcook or saucepan will stain. Season to taste and serve hot with butter.
Note
For half quantity use half tablet for simmering and a half for cooking, using one pint of boiling water and a dessertspoon of sugar.
