Ingredients
4 Dunnes Stores EDLP Quarter Pounders
1 tbsps vegetable oil
4 slices Dunnes Stores EDLP White Cheddar
4 brioche burger buns, toasted
6 tbsps burger sauce
¼ head of lettuce, torn
½ red onion, thinly sliced
2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
A few pickle slices
Ketchup, to serve

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Dunnes Stores EDLP quarter pounders
  • 1 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 4 slices Dunnes Stores EDLP white cheddar
  • Sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • To serve:
  • 4 brioche burger buns, toasted
  • 6 tbsps burger sauce
  • ¼ head of lettuce, torn
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • A few pickle slices
  • Ketchup, to serve

 

METHOD

  1. Place a large frying pan over a medium high heat and add the vegetable oil.
  2. Once hot, place the burgers in the pan, season on both sides with salt and pepper and fry for 6 - 8 minutes, turning occasionally, or until the burgers are cooked through and browned.
  3. Once cooked, top the burger patties with the cheese slices and cover the pan with a lid. Allow the cheese to melt for 2 - 3 minutes then remove the burgers from the pan.
  4. Place the bottom of a toasted bun onto a plate, smear with the burger sauce and top with some lettuce, red onion and tomato, followed by the burger. Top with a few pickles and some ketchup followed by the burger bun top.
