Producer - Rapaura Springs
Regional Information - Natural springs emerge crystal clear through rocks at our family home vineyard in the Rapaura sub-region of Marlborough.
Vinification Details - 2025 was a vintage where patience was rewarded. Spring's warm weather created ideal growing conditions and abundant crop loads, which we reduced to enhance quality. January's cool temperatures extended ripening, enhancing palate weight and aromatic intensity. We commenced harvest in mid-March, working block by block. Grapes were immediately pressed, minimising skin contact to capture expressive aromatics. Different yeasts add complexity, and the final wine is lifted with a dash of Pinot Noir.
