Preparation and Usage
1. Bring the roast to room temperature approx 30 mins before cooking
2. Remove all packaging. Season the roast with salt & pepper.
3. Brush roast lightly with oil. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
4. Place the roast on a rack in a roasting dish close to size of roast. This allows heat to circulate browning evenly.
5. Cook for the calculated time & baste occasionally
Rare 30/35 mins, Medium 40/45 mins, Well Done 50/55 mins
6. Remove from oven when cooked to desired preference.
Cover loosely with foil and rest for 10-20 mins
This allows for the fibres to cool down so the meat retains the juices - Cut roast along grain to ensure tenderness. Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat
