Keep refrigerated 0°C to +4°C.
Consume within 48 hours of opening and by 'use by' date.
Suitable for home freezing.
If freezing, freeze on the day of purchase and consume within 1 month.
Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking and use within 24 hours.
Once thawed do not refreeze.

Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Raw meat products may contain bacteria that could potentially cause illness if mishandled or cooked incorrectly. Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Keep raw and cooked products separate. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Remove all outer packaging but leave the casing on.
Allow the joint to rest for 10 minutes. Remove casing prior to carving. Always check the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat once cooked.
Hob - From Chilled - Medium Heat 30 mins. per 500g
Place in a saucepan and add enough water to cover the joint completely and bring to the boil.
Simmer for time indicated.
Drain and serve.
Oven cook - From Chilled - 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5
30 mins. per 500g plus 30 mins. extra
Preheat oven to required temperature shown above.
Place joint in an oven proof dish, cover with cooking foil and put on middle shelf of a preheated oven and cook for time indicated.
Remove the foil for last 30 minutes of cooking.
