Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled - Raw meat products may contain bacteria that could potentially cause illness if mishandled or cooked incorrectly. Keep raw and cooked products separate. For food safety reasons it is recommended that chicken is not 'washed out' prior to cooking. Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Not suitable microwave cooking. Remove all packaging.
190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 70 mins. approx. per Kg.
Preheat oven to required temperature shown above.
For fan assisted ovens reduce cooking times approximately 10 minutes.
Place chicken on a roasting tray, on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for time indicated.
Ensure the chicken is thoroughly cooked before eating. To check, insert a skewer in the deepest part of the flesh, if the chicken is cooked the juices will run clear, if not continue to cooked and repeat check.
Allow to stand for 10 minutes before carving do not reheat once cooked.
