Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all outer packaging and soak pad before cooking. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6
50 Mins. Per kg + 20 mins extra
- Preheat oven.
- Place the duck on a wire rack on a roasting tray and place on the middle shelf of the oven.
- Cook for time indicated, basting throughout.
- Ensure the duck is thoroughly cooked before serving.
- To check, insert a skewer into the deepest part of the breast and thigh, if the duck is cooked the juices will run clear, if not continue to cook and repeat check.
Once cooked, cover with foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Do not reheat.
