Store in a cool dry place and use before best before date.
Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Ambient - Preheat oven to 180°C
1 Weigh 350g of product into a bowl.
2 Add 100g butter, rub with fingers until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs or use a food processor.
3 Add 1 egg and 100ml of milk, mix thoroughly.
Use some of the remaining flour mix to dust the work surface and baking tray.
4 Topple dough onto floured surface, dust while rolling and cutting to prevent sticking.
5 Flatten dough with your hand until about 3cm thick. Cut to size with a scone cutter or knife.
6 Bake the scones in a preheated oven for 30min at 180°C on a floured tray.
As appliances vary, cooking time is for guidance only.
This pack contains 350g of mix to make 6-8 medium scones and 100g for dusting to prevent sticking.
Preparation and Usage
Baker's tips
Add 60g of dried fruit, Fresh raspberries, Or chocolate for something very special.
Egg wash the top of the scones for an even more golden bake.
