Put 2.5 pints/1.5 litres of stock into a saucepan. Add vegetables and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Blend to a smooth consistency if desired.
Always check the product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.
