Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only.
Always check the product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Hob - From Ambient - 3 mins.
Add 30g of oats and 160ml of water or milk to a saucepan and add salt to taste. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for time indicated above. Allow to stand for 1 minute. If more porridge is required increase the quantities accordingly.
Microwave - From Ambient - 700W 3 mins.
800W 2 1/2 mins.
900W 2 min.
Add 30g of oats and 160ml of water or milk into a large microwavable bowl, stir and cook for times indicated. Do not cover. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Stir and serve.
