Preparation and Usage
Our Suggestions
- Sauces: Cornflour will form into lumps if added directly to a hot liquid. To avoid this, mix the required amount of cornflour with a small amount of cold water until you have a smooth paste. Add to hot liquid to thicken.
- Cakes and desserts: Add 4 parts plain flour to 1 part cornflour to create lighter cakes and puddings.
