History - For several hundred years, Château Lacroix has had a stone monument in the shape of a Cross, visible in the center of the village of Belvès. The Château has been a family property for three generations, the estate is under the appellation "Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux" in the town of Belvès de Castillon, as well as
in the commune of Salles de Castillon.
Producer - Les Grands Chais de France
Regional Information - Chateau Lacroix has been a family estate since three generations. It's names comes from the cross-shaped monument visible in the vineyard. This organic wine offers red fruit aromas and woody notes. With it's finesse and suppleness it will be ideal with charcuterie, lamprey or cheese.
Vinification Details - Frequent pumping over at the start of alcoholic fermentation in order to extract the best of the fruit. Smoother pumping over at the end of fermentation, in order to preserve the aromas. The malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats.
