Grape Variety - Pinot Noir
History - Pierre et Clocher is an invitation to journey to the heart of the French vineyards, where time seems suspended amidst ancient stones and sun-drenched landscapes. It draws its soul from these lands shaped by generations, between weathered stone walls, ruins steeped in history, and charming hamlets.
Each bottle tells the story of villages with iconic bell towers, familiar silhouettes that punctuate the horizon and have brought people together for centuries.
Producer - Les Producteurs Réunis
Regional Information - Like an amphitheater facing the Mediterranean, the Languedoc-Roussillon region stretches along 200 km of coastline, between the sea and the mountains. Its terroir is shaped by clay-limestone soils, sandstone, and schist, which benefit from a sunny climate ideal for many grape varieties to flourish, producing rich and authentic wines.
An emblematic Burgundy grape variety, Pinot Noir reveals in Languedoc a surprising aromatic richness thanks to the diversity of its terroirs.
Vinification Details - The harvest is carried out mechanically, followed by destemming before vatting. The grapes ferment and macerate for 6 to 10 days at a temperature of 24-28°C to extract aromas and color. After draining and pressing, the free-run and press juices are separated and malolactic fermentation is carried out.
