History - Maison Calvet has carried its winemarking know-how through the generations for over 200 years, creating a mark of authencity. In the Loire valley, Maison Calvet makes wines expressing the diversity and the richness of the terroirs they cross whose the only link is the Loire, the royal river. A flowerly and fruity wine with notes of exotic fruits ideal with ricotta and spinach ravioli or with king prawnfritters.

Regional Information - Schist, granite and orthogneiss (edge of the Breton Massif)
Vinification Details - The grapes are picked and pressed with great care so as to prevent the juices from oxidising. Fairly harsh racking of the must. Fermentation at low temperature to develop the aromas. Ageing on fine lees in order to increase the aromatic potential and give it more body.
