Cooking Guidelines
Shallow Fry - From Chilled - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging and allow the steaks to come up to room temperature for 10-15 minutes before cooking. Pat dry with kitchen paper, drizzle with a little olive oil and season with sea salt and cracked black pepper before cooking.
Rare: 1 minute
Medium: 1-2 minutes
Well done: 2-3 minutes
- Preheat a pan over a High heat.
- Place steaks into pan and cook for times indicated, turning occasionally.
Allow the steaks to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Do not reheat.
Steak cooking guide:
Rare: Seared on the outside with a dark red centre.
Medium: Seared on the outside with a pink juicy centre.
Well done: Cooked well the whole way through.
