Cooking Guidelines
Hob - From Ambient - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging.
Soaking: Pour enough boiling water over the peas to cover them, leave room for swelling. Add one of the enclosed tablets and stir until dissolved. Soak overnight or for 12 hours. Strain and rinse.
Put the peas in to a saucepan of boiling water and add a second tablet. Simmer gently for approximately 30 minutes. Do not boil, merely simmer. Season to taste and serve hot with butter.
Warning: Do not overcook or saucepan will stain.
