Cooking Guidelines
Boil - From Ambient - Place in a saucepan of water and boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 20-25 minutes until tender. Drain and serve.
Deep Fry - From Ambient - Chip 10 mins
Peel and chip potatoes. Rinse in cold water and dry thoroughly. Fry in hot oil 190°C/375°F for 8-10 minutes. Drain well before serving.
Microwave - From Ambient - (750 watt) 12 mins
For a 200-250g potato. Pierce several times with a fork. Place on a microwave plate. Cook on full power for 6 minutes.
Oven cook - From Ambient - Perfect Roast Potatoes 60 mins
Peel potatoes, cut into even sized pieces. Place in a saucepan of water and boil. Simmer for 8 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Place in a roasting tin with a little oil and baste. Cook in a pre-heated oven for 45 minutes at 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6, turning once.
Steam - From Ambient - Place potatoes in a steamer and cook for 20-25 mins on a low heat until tender.
