Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat.
Oven cook - From Chilled - 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6 12-15 mins.
Preheat oven. Wrap the mackerel loosely in parchment paper. Place skin side down on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for time indicated.
Shallow Fry - From Chilled - 8-10 mins.
Preheat 5ml of oil in a pan over a Medium heat. Place mackerel skin side down in pan and cook gently for time indicated, turning halfway through cooking.
Preparation and Usage
Serving Suggestion: Just before cooking, add some chopped garlic and a couple of bay leaves.
