History - Monastier range offers seductive and generous wines, produced in Southern France, in the Languedoc and Gascony regions. So the grape varietals styles are respected and our wines offer very aromatic flavours.
Producer - Celliers Jean D'Alibert
Regional Information - This region benefits from the Mediterranean climate while the Black Mountain brings enough humidity and cool temperatures to enable the vineyards to produce grapes packed with fruity aromas.
Vinification Details - Our winemakers work hard to get perfectly ripe grapes, which are essential for this rich style wine. The crop is pneumatically pressed, extracting only the premium juices. The alcoholic fermentation is led at a cold temperature, around 15°C, in stainless steel tanks. A part of the wine is aged with French oak staves for five months, during which the fine lees are stirred frequently, enhancing the structure and aromatic character.
