Tasting Notes - This is a full, round red with a lot of structure, though very friendly on the palate. Aromas of delicate chocolate and smoke combine very well with the dark berry flavours of the wine. The palate is full with soft, sweeter tannins.

Vinification Details - The grapes were fermented on skins for 7 days at 28°C until dry. The young wine was matured on French oak staves for three months during which time the wine picked up its delicate chocolate and smokey characters that compliment the rich fruit flavours.
