Put on the impermeable gloves supplied and then the arm protectors supplied, sealing the arm protectors over the gloves. Place the racks into the bottom corner of a rack cleaning bag, ensuring you do not puncture in any way.
Pour half the cleaning gel into the rack cleaning bag, with enough to enable the racks to have a complete coating when the bag is laid flat. Leave the rest to use with the other bag, when you clean your racks again.
Before sealing, flatten the rack cleaning bag and get as much air out of the bag as possible, then close the seal.
Lay flat and then fold over the rack cleaning bag to make the smallest envelope to ensure all the racks are coated.
Place the rack cleaning bag on a flat surface and leave for one hour. Then turn the bag over to recoat with the gel and leave for another hour. When left, always leave in a safe place where the rack cleaning bag can't be interfered with. For stubborn debris and for the best results, leave overnight. Rinse the outside of the impermeable gloves and arm protectors and keep for the washing down stage.
When leaving the filled bag unattended to soak, ensure there are no leaks and the surface you have left it on will not be affected by the solution.
Washing Down Stage: Put the impermeable gloves and arm protectors back on. Remove racks from the rack cleaning bag and rinse carefully in hot soapy water, then thoroughly with hot water only. Dry and return to oven or BBQ. The remaining gel and debris can be washed down the sink by using hot water whilst rinsing the rack cleaning bag at the same time.
