- Consume within 24 hours of opening and by 'use by' date.

- If freezing, freeze on the day of purchase and consume within 1 month.
- Defrost thoroughly in refrigerator before cooking and consume within 24 hours.
- Once thawed do not refreeze.

Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging and allow the steak to come up to room temperature for 10-15 minutes before cooking. Drizzle with a little olive oil just before cooking and season with sea salt and cracked black pepper while cooking.
Allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Do not reheat.
Steak Cooking Guide:
Rare: Seared on the outside with a dark red centre.
Medium: Seared on the outside with a pink juicy centre.
Well Done: Cooked well the whole way through.
Grill - From Chilled - Rare: 6 - 8 minutes
Medium: 8 - 10 minutes
Well Done: 10 - 14 minutes
- Preheat grill to a Medium temperature.
- Place steak under the grill and cook for times indicated, turning occasionally.
Shallow Fry - From Chilled - Rare: 6 - 8 minutes
Medium: 8 - 10 minutes
Well Done: 10 - 14 minutes
- Preheat a pan over a High heat.
- Sear the steak on both sides, reduce the heat to Medium and cook for times indicated, turning occasionally.

Preparation and Usage
Serving Suggestion
Cook your steak as per cooking instructions and add a knob of butter to the pan close to the end of the cooking time. Allow the butter to foam a little and use it to baste the steak. Transfer the steak to a warm plate, pour any excess juices over the steak and season with our Simply Better Organic Garlic & Herb Seasoning. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
