Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove all packaging and allow the steaks to come up to room temperature for 10-15 minutes before cooking. Drizzle with a little olive oil just before cooking and season with sea salt and cracked black pepper while cooking.
Allow the steaks to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Do not reheat.
Steak Cooking Guide:
Rare: Seared on the outside with a dark red centre.
Medium: Seared on the outside with a pink juicy centre.
Well Done: Cooked well the whole way through.
Grill - From Chilled - Rare: 7 - 8 minutes
Medium: 10 - 12 minutes
Well Done: 12 - 14 minutes
- Preheat grill to a Medium temperature.
- Place steaks under the grill and cook for times indicated, turning occasionally.
Shallow Fry - From Chilled - Rare: 7 - 8 minutes
Medium: 10 - 12 minutes
Well Done: 12 - 14 minutes
- Preheat a pan over a High heat.
- Sear the steaks on both sides, reduce the heat to Medium and cook for times indicated, turning occasionally.
