Consume within 24 hours of opening and by 'use by' date. For 'use by' date, see front of pack. Suitable for home freezing. If freezing, freeze on the day of purchase and consume within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly in refrigerator before cooking and use within 24 hours. Once thawed do not refreeze.

Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled - Cooking times will vary with appliances, the following are guidelines only. Remove card sleeve, film and set aside the glaze sachet for later use. Wash hands after handling the sachet as it has been in contact with raw chicken.
180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4, 60 mins.
Preheat oven. Place the chicken in foil tray provided, on a roasting tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Cook for 45-50 minutes, remove from the oven, carefully open the glaze sachet and pour the contents over the chicken. Increase the oven temperature to 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas 7 and cook for a further 10-15 minutes, basting throughout until the skin is lovely and crispy. Ensure the chicken is thoroughly cooked before serving.
To check, insert a skewer into the deepest part of the breast and thigh, if the chicken is cooked the juices will run clear, if not continue to cook and repeat check.
Once cooked, cover with foil and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Do not reheat.

Preparation and Usage
Serving Suggestion
To serve, cut the spatchcock into four pieces. Carve down the middle of the spatchcock and then between the breast and the thigh, serving the wing with the breast and the thigh with the drumstick.
