The Bend in the River Pinot Grigio 75cl, €7.12

Pinot Grigio

Features
Wine of Italy
Delicately fruity
Vegan friendly

Lifestyle
Suitable for Vegans

Pack Size
75cl ℮

Wine Alcohol Data
Agent - Reh Kendermann GmbH
Current Vintage - 2021
Grape Variety - Pinot Grigio
History - The Bend in the River portrays an aspirational, lifestyle brand which exemplifies style and appeals to discerning consumers who want the good things in life - great taste coupled with contemporary, classic design. The Bend in the River takes its name from the majestic River Rhine at the beginning of the beautiful gorge section of the middle Rhine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At this point it meanders its thoughtful way past the small town of Bingen, the home of The Bend in the River.
Producer - Reh Kendermann GmbH
Regional Information - The grapes for this wine are grown in the Rubicone area, located in the north of Italy and part of the famous Emiglia Romagna. The mediterranean climate with warm and sunny days provides perfect ripening conditions for the Pinot Grigio grapes, while the Fresh breeze from the adriatic sea brings cool nights for the typical fresh and lively character of the wine.
Vinification Details - The grapes were harvested from mid-September onwards at optimum ripeness. They were then pressed gently, cooled down to 5°C and the heavier matter was allowed to settle naturally, leaving behind a clean juice with enhanced fruit definition. The juice was then fermented at low temperatures of 14-16°C / 57-61°F for approximately 3 weeks in stainless steel. The wine was kept on the fine lees for the remaining time before bottling, thereby gaining texture and a balanced palate.
Winemaker - Steffan Haub

Wine Colour
Colour - White

Storage Type
Ambient

Recommended Storage
Storage Type - To enjoy this wine at its best, drink within <> of purchase.

Safety Statements
Pregnancy Warning

Origin
Wine of Italy

Country
Country of Origin - Italy

Company Name
Reh Kendermann GmbH

Company Address
Weinkellerei,
D-55411 Bingen,
Germany.

Return To
Reh Kendermann GmbH,
Weinkellerei,
D-55411 Bingen,
Germany.

Winemaker Beth Liston marshals the best agricultural and winemaking resources from around the globe to deliver the unexpected: a bold wine that outperforms its price.
Producer - Dark Horse wines
Regional Information - Modern winemaking comes with an arsenal of tools and technology, but nothing will turn mediocre grapes into a winning wine. So, we started with one of the world's best growing regions, California, and built strong partnerships with hundreds of grape growers across the state. We work closely with them all year long, walking the vineyards with them and tasting grapes on the vine. When harvest arrives, we have our first pick of those grapes from over 400 growers.
Vinification Details - The grapes for our Dark Horse Chardonnay were harvested during low night temperatures to preserve fresh fruit flavours. Fermentation occurred at temperatures between 56°-64°F with selected aromatic yeast resulting in intense aromatics and an expressive mouthfeel. Following fermentation, the wine was aged on oak to increase the aromatic complexity and the mouth weight.
Winemaker - Beth Liston

Wine Colour
Colour - White

Lower Age Limit
Statutory - Years - 18

Storage Type
Ambient

Storage
Refrigerate after opening

Recommended Storage
Storage Type - This wine is ideal for drinking now but can be kept for up to <>

Preparation and Usage
Enjoy chilled.

Safety Statements
Pregnancy Warning

Country
Country of Origin - United States

Company Name
Dark Horse Europe

Company Address
Harman House,
Uxbridge
UB8 1QQ,
U.K.

Web Address
darkhorsewine.co.uk

Return To
Dark Horse Europe,
Harman House,
Uxbridge
UB8 1QQ,
U.K.
darkhorsewine.co.uk

Father to Son, harvest after harvest, they deepen their knowledge of the fickle nature of the vines that grow here and learn to work in harmony with nature. Perfect for everyday moments, yet equally worthy of an occasion, Lindeman's immensely popular wines are approachable and accessible, with an unfailing record of consistent quality and timeless appeal.
Producer - Treasury Wine Estates
Regional Information - Lindeman's utilises the diverse topography and climate of Australia's wine regions to produce complex wines that are of consistently outstanding quality regardless of varying vintage conditions.
Vinification Details - A mild winter led to a warm and dry growing season with early bud burst. It was relatively cool leading into vintage, which commenced early as a result of normal crop levels and continuing dry conditions.
