(approx 3 1&#x2F;2 tablespoons) warm water into a clean mixing bowl, then add one pack of C Pac Instant Royal Icing.<br/> Mix slowly at first, then beat at full speed for 5-6 min - until the icing forms stiff peaks. Beat in a further teaspoon of water if a softer texture is required.<br/> If desired-add a 1&#x2F;4 teaspoon of Glycerine to prevent the icing over-hardening.<br/> <br/> To Decorate Cakes<br/> Christmas and Rich Fruit Cakes<br/> Place the cake on a cake board- or a large flat plate.<br/> Smooth the icing over the top and sides of the cake using a large pallet knife.<br/> For a simple Snow Effect form peaks with the tip of a pallet knife (any round tipped knife will do) Add further cake decorations now before the icing sets.<br/> Pipework: Allow the first layer set for at least one hour.
